As I type this I am about to sort through my music for Christmas Eve services at Lakeside. Our first rehearsal is exactly two weeks from today. At that rehearsal we need to actaully go over and have a good working of all the music, as future rehearsals focus on tech and then pulling all things together. The reality of this is hitting me in this moment. It’s OK – I’m not panicing – just the silly realization that Christmas is really 34 days away, meaning that Christmas Eve services are only 32 days away (23rd at 7pm and 24th at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm) and that there are 28 days until our dress rehearsal is over.
